Budget revenue in Quang Ninh mainly through seaports

The Department of Quang Ninh Customs’ budget revenue reached more than VND9.8 trillion during the Jan-July period, 50.9 percent of the year’s estimates and a year-on-year rise of 8.9 percent.

Of this figure, revenue from export and import taxes and environment protection tax posted over VND5.8 trillion, while value added tax revenue was VND4.05 trillion.

Revenue through seaports accounted for 96 percent, in which almost all came from coal products for exports and petrol and oil for imports

According to the Department of Quang Ninh Customs, in the first seven months this year, it conducted export procedures for 7.785 million tonnes of coal, earning budget revenue of VND1.28 trillion.

For petrol and oil, the agency completed import procedures for 1,021 million tonnes, earning budget revenue of VND6.6 trillion./.
