Uong Bi City hands over houses to poor households

(CPV) - Dien Cong commune, Uong Bi City of Quang Ninh province in collaboration with M7 Microfinance Institution Limited (M7-MFI), Uong Bi branch, on August 27th organized the inauguration and handover of houses to three families under or near the poverty line in Dien Cong commune.
The three houses are worth a total of over VND700 million, of which M7-MFI’s Uong Bi branch provided VND50 million for each house, the military command of the city provided a thousand bricks, An Duong Company also provided 3 tons of cement, and the remaining money is supported by local administration and organizations and borrowed by the households.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, the representative of the three families expressed deep gratitude for the help and support of the administration, organizations and units. The families promised to work hard to escape poverty and contribute to building the homeland.
On this occasion, the Labour Union, Women's Union of the city, and Dien Cong commune also gave valuable and meaning gifts to the three families./.
