Northern province gives bicycles to disadvantaged children

The Quang Ninh provincial fund for children on September 4 organized a ceremony to present bicycles to disadvantaged pupils in Dam Ha district, to help them easily travel to school.

The bicycles, worth nearly VND1.7 million each, were given to 20 poor pupils of 12-16 years old whose houses are over 5 kilometres from their schools.

The activity aimed to help them travel to school, showing the affection and responsibility of sectors, branches and society for children, especially for poor children./.
