Northern province gives housing assistance to over 5,000 revolutionary contributors

The northern province of Quang Ninh has issued a decision approving housing assistance for 5,099 revolutionary contributors’ families, including building new houses for 2,598 families and repairing houses for 2,501 families.

The assistance aims to apply a decision of the Prime Minister.

The assistance will be carried out with capital of nearly VND155 billion, of which each new house will be built with VND40 million and each old house will be repaired with VND20 million.

Apart from the assistance from the State, the building of houses for revolutionary contributors’ families will encourage the participation of the community.

The project is expected to be completed in 2014, with houses to be built and repaired for 4,540 families in 2013./.
