Northern province’s district supports house for poor family

On September 11th, the fund for the poor of Tien Yen district, the northern province of Quang Ninh, handed over a house for a poor family in Tien Lang commune.

The house was built on an area of 70 square metres with a total capital of VND80 million, of which the district fund for the poor supported VND25 million, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam (Vietcombank) Tien Yen district branch supported VND50 million, and the rest was collected by the family, local authority and unions.
The To Van Tung family who received the house is living in an extremely disadvantaged situation. Therefore, the house is a gift of great significance, showing the efforts of the whole community in assisting poor families to have a better life, strive in production and stabilise their life.
On this occasion, the Tien Yen district Fatherland Front also presented some essential utensils for Mr. Tung’s family./.
