Northern province’s district puts on full-moon festival for poor children

Hoanh Bo district, the northern province of Quang Ninh, has planned to organise a mid-autumn festival for children, with 100% of communes and towns mobilising all sources for children, especially poor children and those in remote areas. As part of the program, the youth union will collect 100 mid-Autumn presents for disadvantaged children.

The union has mobilised all resources and facilities so that the program proceeds well. Each branch is expected to mobilise 5-10 presents worth at least VND100,000 for children, while encouraging enterprises and administrative agencies organize meetings to praise and give presents to cadres’ and officials’ children.
The district leaders will set up delegations to visit and give mid-Autumn presents in 9 places across the district./.
