Children in Quang Ninh province welcome mid-autumn festival

On September 16^th, more than 500 pupils from schools in Tien Yen district enjoyed useful activities to welcome mid-autumn at Hai Lang secondary school.

The programme was coordinated with Tien Yen district’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Tien Yen Department of Education and Training, and Tien Yen Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs.

Children and their teachers decorated mid-autumn food trays, made star lamps and many other toys. Children also participated in art performances, fashion shows, dragon performances and legends about the festival.

On September 16, at Cong Hoa secondary school in Cam Pha city, vice president of Quang Ninh provincial People’s Council went to join the mid-autumn festival with children in Cong Hoa commune. During the festival, children will listen to a letter of the State President to children and pioneers on the occasion of mid-autumn festival, enjoy art performances and enjoy a camp fire./.
