Quang Ninh provincial leaders visit Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore

During a trip to Singapore for studying administrative reform and the building of electronic authority in Singapore, on September 17, a delegation from the northern province of Quang Ninh visited the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore.

Receiving the delegation, Nguyen Dang Hung, the minister counsellor and deputy ambassador, talked about the close relationship between Vietnam and Singapore, and gave information on the cooperation in outstanding areas such as economics, trade and education. During the discussion, the Quang Ninh provincial delegation was suggested to attract investment from Singapore to the province.

During the meeting, Tran Van Minh, a member of the provincial Party Committee and deputy head of the province’s delegation of National Assembly deputies, talked about the development orientations of the province, stressing the building of the Van Don special economic-administrative area.

He suggested that the Vietnamese Embassy in Singapore help the province promote three areas, including calling on investment, introducing tourism, and assisting the province’s delegations who come to Singapore to study, based on signed agreements.

A representative from the embassy, Nguyen Dang Hung, showed their willingness to support Quang Ninh province for increasing cooperation with Singapore.

On the same day, the delegation studied Chong Pang community club – an effective way of social management and organization for residential areas in Singapore./.
