Vietnam – China Tourism and Trade Fair in Quang Ninh

The 2013 Vietnam – China Tourism and Trade Fair will be held from December 12-18 in the border city of Mong Cai, in Quang Ninh province.

The fair will feature around 350 booths, 100 of which will be from foreign displayers.

There will be five major areas at the fair, including an exhibition on socio-economic achievements of Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province and Dong Xing city; an area for foreign businesses and foreign-invested businesses (China, Laos and Thailand); an area for domestic businesses; an area for businesses in Mong Cai city and Quang Ninh province; and an exhibition to advertise tourism.

Under the framework of the fair, the main activities will include a meeting to promote trade and tourism and attract investment, a singing exchange on rivers between Mong Cai and Dong Xing city, a Vietnam – China international mini-football friendly competition and a ceremony to honour outstanding businesses.

With the main theme “Cooperation – Friendship together with Integration and Development”, the Mong Cai People’s Committee and representatives of Dong Xing discussed and agreed on contents and preparations to organize the fair./.
