Free examination provided for the elderly in Hong Ha

(CPV) - On the occasion of the International Day of Old Persons (October 1), Ha Long city’s Hong Ha ward People's Committee in Quang Ninh province, in collaboration with the Quang Ninh Traditional Medicine Hospital on September 27 organized examinations free of charge for 50 elderly people in the ward.
During the examination, the elderly people were examined for diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diseases relating to eyes and blood pressure; provided counselling to prevent diseases and take care of their health, and delivered medicines free of charge. The total cost for the examinations is about VND30 million.
This is one of the significant activities, contributing to improving the health of the elderly in the locality./.
