Northern provincial leader receives Japanese investors

On October 2, Do Thong, standing Vice Chairman of the Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee, received representatives from two Japanese companies, Chodai and Seiwa Denko.

He stressed that the province paid special attention to tackling environmental pollution in the bay, adding that it committed to direct relevant departments and sectors to actively cooperate with the two companies so that all the projects would proceed smoothly.

Akinori Ido, business director of Chodai Company, expressed appreciation to the province for its support for their study and improvement of the water environment on Ha Long bay.

He also pledged to work closely with authorised agencies of the province to effectively carry out the projects, contributing to improving the living environment and sanitation on Ha Long bay./.
