Quang Ninh youth help storm victims in Central region

The program aims to respond to the call of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to support people in Central region seriously affected by storm No. 10.

At the launching ceremony, Mr. Hoang Ba Nam, member of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Standing Committee and Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Youth Union, called upon civil servants to donate one salary day to storm victims in the central region, to contribute to ease their damage and losses.

Moreover, the Quang Ninh provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also required youth union standing committees of districts and towns to organize communication and mobilize officials, young people, students and people to raise funds to support people in the central region, as well as call upon businesses and individuals to fund the program.

After the launching ceremony, the organizing board collected over VND10 million. Previously, staff of the Quang Ninh provincial Youth Union had raised VND 10 million to help storm victims in the central region./.
