Receiving support for building new style rural areas

The Labour Federation of the northern province of Quang Ninh has held a meeting to receive assistance for building new style rural areas for Cam Hai and Duong Huy communes in Cam Pha City, contributing to helping these two communes to realise the program.

During the meeting, agencies, enterprises and social organizations, including the Quang Ninh service and trade mineral water company, Bao Viet insurance company, Cong Doan tourism hotel, B12 oil and gas company, the Vietnam – Japan Labour Cultural Palace, and the provincial Labour Federation, made significant donations to the program.

The presents included 289 insurance cards for disadvantaged pupils, 1,100 books, 12 bookcases, documents on policies and laws, and 2 reproductive cows for poor families. All the presents are worth nearly VND111 million.

The program on building new style rural areas was adopted by the Prime Minister in 2010 and will run until 2020. It targets to build rural areas of modern socio-economic infrastructure, combine agricultural production with rapid industrial and service development, combine rural development with urban development, and raise people’s spiritual and material lives./.
