Over 1,500 disadvantaged children assisted

Over the past 5 years, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the northern province of Quang Ninh has assisted nearly 1,500 disadvantaged children with at least VND100,000 per month.

In addition, healthcare and presents have also been given to disadvantaged children during festivals. Thanks to the assistance, many disadvantaged children have gained access to school, recreational and development opportunities, contributing to realising the target to protect, care for and educate children.
The union will continue to increase social involvement in caring for poor children, with a target to give regular assistance worth at least VND200,000 per month to 2,000 disadvantaged children./.
