French Communist Party delegation visits Quang Ninh province

On October 26, Nguyen Duc Long, Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the provincial People’s Council, had a working meeting with a delegation of the French Communist Party (FCP).

The delegation, led by Ms Lydia Samarbakhsh, Politburo member, and a member of the national coordination board, head of the FCP Central Committee Commission for External Relations, was welcomed to Quang Ninh province and informed of the province’s structure and organization of its Party Committee, as well as its socio-economic development situation.

Thanking Quang Ninh provincial leaders for the warm reception, Ms Lydia Samarbakhsh said that the visit by the delegation aimed to strengthen relations between the FCP and the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV).

According to Ms Lydia Samarbakhsh, the signing of the strategic partnership deal between the two countries opens new opportunities for promoting socio-economic development and building more equitable and stable societies for the two countries.

Ms highly appreciated the province’s socio-economic development achievements, saying that she believed the province would promote its potential and advantages to gain bigger achievements in the upcoming time.

The FCP delegation visited Ha Long bay, the world natural heritage site, on October 27./.
