International conference on journalism in globalization held in Hanoi

On October 29, in Hanoi, the Academy of Journalism and Communication coordinated with an Austrian university, Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper and Quang Ninh provincial television and radio station to organize an international scientific conference themed “Journalism in Globalization: Chances, Challenges and Prospects”.

The conference focused on issues including development trends of journalism during globalization; similarities and differences in journalism in countries in the world; journalism and communication training problems; press changes; responsibilities and duties of journalists; and changing models in researching journalism, society and communication.

Nearly 100 reports from domestic and foreign scientists, researchers and journalists were sent to the organizing board of the conference.

The event has become a forum for scientists to share experiences. It will run until December 2./.
