Bulgarian President visits Ha Long bay

During his visit to Vietnam, Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev and his delegation visited the northern province of Quang Ninh and its World Natural Heritage Site, Ha Long bay, on October 29.

Nguyen Van Thanh, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, welcomed the Bulgarian President and his accomplices to visit Ha Long bay.

He informed the Bulgarian President and the delegation of the potential and advantages of the province’s socio-economic development, introduced the scenery and geological beauty of Ha Long bay, as well as Quang Ninh people.

He wished the delegation a successful visit to Vietnam, which would contribute to strengthening the relations between the two countries.

The Bulgarian President thanked the province officials for the warm welcome, saying that he was happy and it was his honour to visit Quang Ninh province, especially visit Ha Long bay, its World Natural Heritage Site./.
