English eloquence contest on Ha Long bay

To promote foreign language learning among students and help students improve English speaking skills, an English eloquence contest on Ha Long bay, a world natural heritage, took place in Ha Long city on November 3.

The contest drew the participation of students from primary, secondary, high schools and vocational schools in the city. Contestants were judged on their eloquence in praising the beauty, potentials and values in the landscape and geology of Ha Long bay, as well as responsibility of youth in the preservation and promotion of the world natural heritage.

The Organizing Board presented first prize to student Nguyen Thuy Duong from Ha Long gifted high school./.
