Northern province puts aside VND310 billion to support production

In nearly three years of implementation of the national program on building new style rural areas, the northern province of Quang Ninh has put aside some VND310 billion to support production in over 450 projects and production models.

The money has helped to establish concentrated production areas in combination with trademark promotion, including for vegetable, flower, high-quality rice, fruit and aquaculture in different districts and cities.
The production has contributed to improving the spiritual and material lives of people in rural areas. According to the provincial board for building new style rural areas, rural residents’ income increased from nearly VND11 million per year in 2010 to VND14 million per year in 2012./.
