Strengthening management and preservation of Ha Long bay

On November 18, vice chairwoman of Quang Ninh provincial People’s Committee Vu Thi Thu Thuy presided over a meeting with the Management Board of Ha Long bay to make a report on provincial documents related to the management and preservation of the Ha Long bay heritage site.

Since the beginning of the year, Quang Ninh provincial Party Committee, People’s Council and People’s Committee issued 19 documents on the management, preservation and promotion of value of Ha Long bay, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. Management on tourism business environment, rescue and environmental protection in Ha Long bay has made a positive shift, creating a good impression on domestic and foreign tourists.

Participants at the meeting proposed that the Management Board of Ha Long bay check instruction documents and give priority to revising regulations on Ha Long Bay management, building a project on preserving and promoting the values of Ha Long bay and Bai Tu Long bay in 2015-2020 and the vision to 2030, and the project renovating service management in Ha Long bay./.
