Over 3,600 families in northern district donate land to build new style rural areas

In three years of implementing the program on building new style rural areas, 7 of 19 communes in Dong Trieu district, the northern province of Quang Ninh, have met 100% of the program's criteria.

Within 3 years, 3,633 families volunteered to donate 293,103 square metres of land, demolish 24,427 square metres of barrier walls, 1,289 square metres of supplementary constructions, cut down 11,345 fruit trees and contribute 14,181 working days for the program constructions.

In addition, enterprises in the district and outside the district supported materials such as bricks and cement to build 23 kilometres of roads, 432 metres of walls, 70 metres of dykes and tile 22,000 square metres of pavement./.
