Quang Ninh to send 20 representatives to the 2nd Vietnam – China youth festival

Quang Ninh province will send 20 representatives among 3,000 Vietnamese youth to participate in the second youth festival in China’s Guangxi province from November 24-27.

According to Ms Pham Phuong Chi, head of International Department of the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the festival is expected to draw the participation of nearly 9,000 representatives of Vietnamese and Chinese youth.

The event’s major activities will be organized in the eight provinces of Liuzhou, Beihai, Qinzhou, Guizhou, Guigang, Yulin, Fangchenggang and Nanning.

The Vietnamese delegation will be divided into 7 groups to take part in various programs such as the opening ceremony at the Dongxing Border Gate (Guangxi), visits to historical relics relating to the Vietnamese revolution and President Ho Chi Minh and to local factories and offices, sports and artistic exchanges and environmental protection projects.

After taking part in activities in 7 cities, the delegates will gather in Nanning city to join a tree planting program and the Congress of the Vietnam-China youth festival./.
