Water tanks given to poor families and disabled on Co To Island

On November 27, the Co To Island district Red Cross, the northern province of Quang Ninh, granted 25 water tanks to poor families and disabled people in Thanh Lan commune.

The activity was part of a program worth VND515 million sponsored by the Norwegian Red Cross to provide safe water to communities in the commune.
Of which, VND300 million has been spent providing 25 water containers and building 10 standard restrooms for poor families and disabled people. The rest will be used to sanitise the Chien Thang water reservoir in the same commune.
The program has contributed to assisting people with safe water, improving people’s lives./.
