From January 16-25, Ba Che district’s inter-disciplinary delegation has been inspecting price stabilisation for the 2014 Tet commodity market in the district.

In communes and town, the delegation inspected for the trading of fake, low-quality and out-of-date goods during Tet holiday, such as confectioneries, beer, wine, beverage, foodstuff, frozen food, seasoning powder and cosmetics.

It also checked the following of legal regulations on listing prices and avoiding speculation and false reports in order to raise selling prices, destabilizing the market.

The action aims to stabilize market prices and ensure food safety and hygiene to meet consumer demand during Tet holiday, as well as protecting the rights and health of consumers in the district, contributing to the target of stabilizing the market, curbing inflation and ensuring social welfare./.
