Quang Ninh province sets up 200 delegations to inspect food safety

Accordingly, the provincial Food Safety Department has distributed 400 disks across communes, wards and towns to disseminate information on food safety, as well as laws relating to food safety. Meanwhile, the training and dissemination of food safety knowledge for food shops, restaurants, hotels and food foundations have also been regularly and strictly carried out.

Slogans, posters and fliers on food safety have been hung in different places, while news on food safety knowledge and violations has been broadcast on television, in order to educate people about maintaining food safety.

So far, food safety delegations have inspected nearly 2,500 foundations, finding that over 2,000 satisfy the standards for food safety, fining 72 foundations and destroying food products of 22 foundations that do not meet standard on food safety.

According to the Food Safety Department, so far 100% of medical stations across the province have made plans for preventing food poisoning and diseases transmitting through food./.
