Northern district support for revolutionary contributors' housing near completion

Ba Che district in the northern province of Quang Ninh has so far completed the building and repairing 88 of 96 houses for revolutionary contributors, accounting for 91% of the year’s plan, according to the district Department of Economics and Infrastructure.
The department also reported that of the houses, 75 houses were built and 13 others were repaired, costing a total capital of VND2.5 billion.
The building and repairing of houses for revolutionary contributors have been carried out to obey a Decision issued by the Prime Minister in 2013 which puts forth a regulation that the country assists VND20 million with each repaired house and VND40 million towards each newly built one.
The houses built have an area of at least 30 square metres each and satisfy the demand of firm floors, firm walls and firm roofs.
The program was started in the district in late 2013 and will be complete by the end of this year./.
