Budget collection in Quang Ninh hits over VND14.8 trillion

The Quang Ninh Department of Customs collected nearly VND1.05 trillion to the State budget in October 2014, reported the Quang Ninh Television website.

This figure brought total budget revenue carried out by the department in the first ten months this year to more than VND14.8 trillion, 78.9% of the year’s plan.

The budget collection was mainly from petrol and oil imports and coal exports.

Over the past ten months this year, revenue from petrol and oil imports reached VND9.63 billion, 65.3% of the department’s total collection while those from coal exports were estimated at VND945 billion, 6.5% of the total.

Other commodities contributed VND4.14 billion to the State budget, 28% of the total or a year-on-year rise of 34%.

The Quang Ninh Department of Customs continues to carry out solutions to remove difficulties for businesses, intensifies measures to increase revenue and enhances smuggling and trade fraud prevention in the rest of the year./.
