Northern province receives VND100 billion in support for healthcare projects

The Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank) has sponsored VND100 billion for the northern province of Quang Ninh to support its healthcare projects for communities in 2015.

The sponsorship comes as a result of the strategic cooperation between the province and the bank in boosting socio-economic development.

According to representatives from the bank, over the past 3 years, Techcombank has provided assistance worth VND240 billion for the province. The money has been used to boost economic, cultural and social welfare activities; invite international prestigious strategic investors to join the province’s making of socio-economic development plans as well as tourism and human resource development plans; and carry out projects on upgrading medical equipment for poor districts.

With VND100 billion as sponsorship in 2015, the province will carry out projects to increase community healthcare, benefiting millions of people./.
