Quang Ninh customs officials seize nearly 20kg of drugs

The Mong Cai Border Gate Customs uncovered a drug trafficking case at the Ka Long River in Ka Long Ward, in the northern Quang Ninh province's Mong Cai City on early morning of January 7th.

Being discovered by the customs officials, the two drug traffickers took their drugs and jumped into the river. Customs officials chased the two traffickers, but they managed to escape leaving behind 19.8kg of drugs.

Chairman of the Quang Ninh provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Doc gave the customs officials VND20 million as reward for discovering the case.
