Quang Ninh seizes 7kg of crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy

The authority of the Quang Ninh province discovered and arrested drug traffickers and seized 7kg of crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy on January 26th.
At 5.30pm of January 26th, the authority checked a coach with the license number of 36B-010.89 driven by Luong Ngoc Cao born in 1980 in Thanh Hoa province.
Through the inspection, the authority discovered Le Thi Cuc, born in 1959 from Ngoc Phung commune, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province and Nguyen Thi Phuong, born in 1964 from Thuong Xuan town, Thuong Xuan district, Thanh Hoa province. The two women were transporting white tin foil packages containing white crystals and nylon bags of white cylinder pellets.
A result of a test shows that the white crystal and white cylinder pellets are crystal methamphetamine and ecstasy with a total weight of over 6.7kg.
The case is under further investigation./.
