Vietnam Coast Guard organizes drug prevention communication

The Department of Drug-related Crime Prevention under the Vietnam Coast Guard on April 7th organized a meeting to communicate information on drug prevention to the people in Binh Ngoc ward, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province.
The representative of the Vietnam Coast Guard communicated contents such as the types of drugs and how to distinguish between the types of drug: opium, heroin, synthetic drugs; explanation about the harmful effects of drugs and direct effect on health and morality, lifestyle of drug users and community; measures of drug prevention; and legal regulations on drug crimes.
In addition, it also delivered leaflets to individuals and households, including more than 200 households on vessels in Mui Ngoc port./.
