Quang Ninh province seizes 5kg of drugs

The Vietnam Coast Guard, the Ministry of Public Security, the Quang Ninh provincial Police and the Quang Ninh provincial Customs Department caught two people for illegal transport of large amount of drugs at a trade centre in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province.

They are Nguyen Thach Bao, 41, and Tran Anh Tuan, 33, both residing in Hanoi. The police also seized exhibits, including 5kg of crystal methamphetamine, a car, a set of using crystal methamphetamine and two mobile phones.

The two drug traffickers confessed that they bought drugs from China and brought into Vietnam to sell in Hai Phong and Hanoi.

The case is under further investigation./.
