“Clean the sea” campaign conducted by Quang Ninh Youth

This is an activity in the campaign “Clean the sea”, launched by the Quang Ninh provincial Youth Union and Border Guard from early 2018.

At the program, Vu Van Dien, Deputy Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, appreciated the youth union members and members of political and social organizations and people in Ha Long city.

He stressed that the campaign was organized after Carnaval Ha Long, not only helped clean up garbage, but also showed responsibility of administrations at all levels and people in the province in organizing the National Tourism Year 2018 - Ha Long - Quang Ninh, as well as contributing to preserve green, clean, beautiful, friendly, civilized and safe images of Ha Long tourism city and other tourism sites in the province as well.

Mr. Dien hoped that the activity would be maintained regularly and administrations at all levels and sectors should intensify communications and mobilize to raise awareness of environmental protection for local people, tourists and businesses.

So far, the campaign has been organized every Sunday in coastal localities with the participation of nearly 5,000 youth union members, officials and border soldiers and people along 50km of seashore./.
