Northern province starts to build Cua Luc No 1 Bridge

A ceremony to start work on the Cua Luc No 1 Bridge, which will span Cua Luc Bay, connecting the South and the North of Ha Long City was organized by the northern province of Quang Ninh on April 28th.

The over 2.1 trillion VND project is funded by the Quang Ninh provincial budget. As designed, the bridge has a total distance of 4,265 m, with six lanes and maximum speeds of 60km per hour.

Since Hoanh Bo district was merged into Ha Long city in January this year, the city has adopted a multi-polar development strategy with Cua Luc Bay at its centre.

The bridge is expected to be completed by the end of 2021, contributing to gradually completing the traffic infrastructure, facilitating transportation and meeting travel demand, attracting more investors to Ha Long City after Hoanh Bo District was merged into Ha Long city./.
