Over 140,000 employees in Ho Chi Minh City have been fully vaccinated

As of September 23, nearly 600,000 employees from over 4,660 businesses and units received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and more than 140,000 people were fully vaccinated.

Mr. Ho Xuan Lam, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labour Confederation, said that since the 4th wave of the COVID-19 pandemic broke out, the trade unions at all levels of Ho Chi Minh City have closely coordinated with the local Steering Committee for COVID-19 Pandemic Prevention and Control and the authorities to implement vaccination against COVID-19 for workers at businesses in the city.
Employees are looking forward to soon being fully vaccinated so that they can return to work and stabilize their lives.
According to Mr. Lam, currently, workers in hostels are facing a lot of difficulties due to the long social distancing period, while the necessary money to cover daily expenses is no longer available.
Therefore, employees are looking forward to soon receiving support packages from the Government and the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and want to simplify all kinds of procedures and certification documents so that employees have the opportunity to access support packages in the quickest way./.
