Bai Khem beach in the southern province of Kien Giang has won a place among World’s Top 50 beaches for 2018, as voted by Flight Network, the biggest travel network in Canada.

Ranked 43rd, Bai Khem beach, or called Bai Kem by local people, is located on the far south coast of Phu Quoc, 25 km from Duong Dong and down a dirt path through the forest.
The travel network said Bai Khem beach is renowned for sand as fine as talcum powder and water so clear you can count the pebbles on the sea floor.
“The beach doesn’t have amenities, only the simple luxury to soak up the sun, the view and take a swim in a breathtaking place.”
The most popular way to reach the beach is to fly into Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh city, from where you can fly direct to Phu Quoc, or take a bus - ferry combo.
According to Flight Network’s survey, the three best beaches are Shipwreck Beach in Zakynthos (Greece), Whitehaven in Queensland (Australia) and Hidden Beach in El Nido (the Philippines).
