CNN to promote Hanoi as a new destination of sports

Specifically, CNN continues exploiting and promoting the value of heritages, people and culture of Hanoi with a typical meaning for Vietnam. In 2020, CNN will introduce Hanoi as a new destination, especially with Formula 1 racing and in 2021, the news will promote the capital as the host of SEA Games 31.  

In 2022, Hanoi will be introduced as capital of technological and information application with strong changes. In 2023, it will be promoted as a city of the future and a gateway to other cities of Vietnam.

“CNN will promote the capital through stories with topics from sporting and cultural eyes. These images will be broadcasted on CNN and social networks,” said SuniTara Jan.

“Over the past time, Hanoi continuously focused on tourism promotion work, especially promoting the image on the spot and quality improvement of services so that the number of foreign visitors to Hanoi grew nearly 20% and the capital becomes a center to distribute visitors to northern localities, said Mr. Tran Duc Hai, Director of the Hanoi Tourism Department./.
