Hanoi's image promoted on CNN during 2nd DPRK - US summit

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Hanoi city People’s Committee have promoted and introduced banners and video on CNN’s website for four days before and during the second DPRK - US summit in Hanoi.

The nearly one-minute video introduced Hanoi’s image with historical relics, flowers and special foods like
Pho (noodles served with beef or chicken) and
Cha ca (fried fish), to international friends.
In a recent meeting on preparations for the second summit, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc stressed the significance of Vietnam becoming the host of the historical summit, considering it a chance to promote the country.
He required organizers to focus on promoting the image of Vietnam and the capital of Hanoi, the beauty of culture, people and tourism on the occasion of world media putting attention on the summit.
According to a representative of the ministry, besides news about activities of leaders of the US and DPRK, the image of Hanoi is being covered globally./.
