During their stay in the central coastal province of Quang Nam, the fam (familiarization) delegation visited and surveyed two world cultural heritages: Hoi An Ancient Town and My Son Sanctuary, as well as tours to the countryside and craft villages; surveyed accommodation facilities and golf courses.
According to the Quang Nam Tourism Promotion Center, from December 2-6, the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Vietnam Airlines to welcome the Australian famtrip and presstrip delegation to visit and survey tourism services in Quang Nam.
The delegation consisted of 11 members representing Australian press and travel agencies: The Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG), Ignite Travel Group, Helloworld Travel, Intrepid Travel, Wing Sing Travel, Wendy Wu Tours and Insider Journeys.

At the same time, the delegation met and connected with Quang Nam tourism businesses at a gala dinner program held on the evening of December 3.
Ms. Rachael Lee, a representative of Australia’s leading professional travel company, said that Vietnam is one of the 10 favorite tourist destinations of the Australian market.
“Every year, more and more Australian visitors look for advice on where to go in Vietnam, and Hoi An, Quang Nam with its unique history, culture and landscape, is one of the most favored destinations in the central region of Vietnam,” Ms. Rachael Lee shared.
