Bac Ninh province welcomes about 65,000 visitors during five-day holiday

The number of visitors to Bac Ninh province was estimated to reach 65,000, an increase of 8% over the same period in 2023 and its revenue reached 45 billion VND during the National Reunification Day (April 30th) and May Day holiday, reported the Bac Ninh province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

The department issued a document requesting tourism businesses and destinations in the province to perform well and communicate to employees and tourists on raising awareness of voluntarily complying with the law and ensuring regulations on disease prevention and control, environmental sanitation, food safety, and traffic safety.
During the holiday, the province organized various cultural, sports and tourism activities, creating a useful playground for people as well as enriching cultural and spiritual life, contributing to promoting the image of people, values, and cultural heritage of Bac Ninh.
Particularly, the province organized a program on Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk song singing on a boat at Bac Ninh Quan Ho Folk Song Theater lake in Bac Ninh city; traditional folk art performances at Do Temple Festival, But Thap Pagoda and Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center; organizing a display space to recreate the Dong Ho painting market at the Dong Ho Folk Painting Conservation Center in Thuan Thanh town; displaying documents and organizing thematic talks to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory at the Provincial Library; organizing the Freestyle and National Wrestling Championship 2024 in Que Vo town and so on./.
