International travel magazine Travel+Leisure has just announced a list of the 21 most beautiful waterfalls in the world, including Ban Gioc Waterfall in the northeastern province of Cao Bang.

According to Travel+Leisure, there are countless spectacular waterfalls everywhere in the world, from those considered the largest, highest or most powerful to those that are less known.
Travel+Leisure has selected 21 of the most beautiful and wonderful waterfalls in the world to introduce to tourists, including Ban Gioc Waterfall.
Located on Vietnam-China border, Ban Gioc Waterfall in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, Cao Bang province, is a place with majestic natural scenery. It is not only one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Vietnam, but one of the largest natural waterfalls in Southeast Asia.
From a height of more than 60m with the longest slope of 30m, water pours down over many layers of rock, flowing and creating a majestic scene.
Surrounding Ban Gioc Waterfall is beautiful and poetic natural landscape, fresh and cool air with lush green grass, primeval forests and a diverse and rich ecosystem of animals and plants. One of the most interesting and attractive activities for tourists here is trekking - walking through the forest to immerse yourself in the vast, majestic space and learn about the life and culture of ethnic minorities.
From Ban Gioc Waterfall, visitors can visit many famous tourist attractions of Cao Bang such as: Nguom Ngao Cave, Pac Bo relic site, and Phat Tich Truc Lam Ban Gioc Pagoda./.
