Through research at accommodation service establishments, this significant increase is mainly due to the sharp rise in the number of group visitors and visitors at entertainment areas, and many visitors chose to rest for a few hours at accommodation facilities during their visit. In addition, the number of local visitors staying during the day at individual accommodation establishments such as motels and inns increased significantly.
Revenue from accommodation and food services over the past nine months was estimated at nearly 20,602.7 billion VND, up 23% year on year. Of which, revenue from the accommodation sector reached an estimated 7,775.1 billion VND, up 33.5%, and the food sector was 12,827.6 billion VND, up 17.5%.
Currently, international visitors to Da Nang are mainly from the Republic of Korea, Japan, India, Southeast Asia and the US. The local authorities are continuing to promote key international markets in Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia, in combination with seeking more tourists from potential markets such as India, Australia and Northern Europe./.
