The Costa Serena cruise ship has docked at Tien Sa Port, the central coastal city of Da Nang, bringing nearly 3,500 international tourists from Hong Kong (China).

During their stay in Da Nang, tourists will join a tour to visit famous scenic spots and destinations such as Sun World Ba Na Hill Tourist Area, Ngu Hanh Son National Monument and experience city tours to explore local culture and cuisine like Son Tra Peninsula and Hoi An ancient town (Quang Nam province).
The Costa Serena cruise ship departed from Hong Kong Port (China) and toured straight to Tien Sa Port, Da Nang.
The cruise tourist season usually runs from October to April. Travel companies mainly exploit tourists to the Central region. As planned, about 50 cruise ships will dock at both Tien Sa Port (Da Nang) and Chan May (Thua Thien-Hue).
According to the Da Nang Department of Tourism, in 2024, the total number of overnight tourists is expected to reach 10.3 million, an increase of 39% against last year. Of which, international tourist arrivals are estimated at 4.2 million, an increase of 2.1 times, domestic visitors arrivals reached 6.1 million, an increase of 13%.
In 2025, the total number of overnight visitors is expected to reach more than 10.5 million, an increase of 6% compared to 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at 4.3 million, an increase of 11%, domestic visitors are estimated at more than 6.2 million./.
