First culinary commercial street in District 7

District 7 in Ho Chi Minh City is implementing a project developing the night-time economy associated with tourism development at the Sky Garden culinary commercial street, said Ms. Nguyen Thi Be Ngoan, Vice Chairwoman of the District 7 People’s Committee.

This is one of the three areas included in the pilot plan to develop the night-time economy associated with tourism development in District 7, approved by the City People’s Committee at the end of 2023. Also in the plan are the Crescent Lake-Phu My Hung Anh Sao Bridge area in Tan Phu and Tan Phong wards and Road No. 11N, the Bank residential area in Tan Thuan Tay ward.
The Sky Garden culinary commercial street covers 2.6 hectares, located within the scope of Nguyen Van Linh-Pham Van Nghi-Road No. 2-Bui Bang Doan street.
The area gathers 222 business establishments, including 125 food and beverage service establishments; 40 beauty care establishments; 25 businesses in the trade and service sector and 31 accommodation establishments.
The culinary commercial street is expected to operate from 18:00 to 24:00. Because the business area is located in a residential area, cultural and artistic activities that cause noise will end earlier, at 22:00.
Aiming to support businesses and residents, the People’s Committee of District 7 will synchronize the brand identity for more than 200 business establishments in the area where the culinary commercial street is developed./.
