Accordingly, nearly 1,000 Chinese and Korean tourists traveled from Hanoi to Ha Long City according to the pre-determined schedule.

Director of the Ha Long International Cruise Port Pham Van Hiep said that immediately after the storm, the unit repaired some damaged infrastructure and cleared up broken and fallen trees. At the same time, it made every effort to inspect the equipment and machinery systems of the port.

So far, some wharves have been operating normally, ensuring safety during operation. Many cruise ships have returned to anchor at Ha Long International Cruise Port after temporarily migrating to avoid the storm.

On September 10, the cruise port had nearly 1,560 tourists boarding ships to visit Ha Long Bay. These tourists also chose to return to shore on the same day.

Meanwhile, Tuan Chau International Cruise Port has also just resumed operations. The port has had 84 ships departing with 2,310 tourists. About 615 of them continued to stay in Ha Long Bay.

Previously, when super Typhoon Yagi made landfall in Quang Ninh, international cruise ports were temporarily closed for disaster prevention and control work. Many tourism service businesses were also heavily affected./.
