On September 11, the organizers of the second Hanoi autumn festival said that the event will be held between September 19 and 22.
The Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024, themed ‘Hanoi Autumn - Historic Autumn,’ celebrates the 70th anniversary of the city’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954). It will take place at the pedestrian zone around Hoan Kiem Lake and some tourist destinations in Hanoi.
The highlight of the festival will be a re-enactment of locals welcoming the victorious army with flags and flowers in celebration of the city’s liberation on October 10, 1954.
Other highlights include 150 stalls showcasing products from traditional trade villages, special seasonal dishes, and souvenirs.
The festival was first held in 2023 with the aim of promoting both the capital’s autumn destinations and tourism products./.
