Hanoi greets over 2.1 million tourists in November

Of which, international tourist arrivals were estimated at 680,800, a year-on-year rise of 28.4%, and domestic tourists numbered 1.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%. Total revenue from tourists reached an estimated 9,593 billion VND, a year-on-year rise of 20.2%.

In the first eleven months of 2024, the total number of tourists to Hanoi was estimated at 25.33 million, a year-on-year rise of 11.7%.

International tourists were estimated at 5.67 million (exceeding the target set for the year’s plan of welcoming 5.5 million tourists), up 35.8% year on year, in which 3.99 million international tourists arrivals used accommodation services.

Domestic tourist arrivals reached 19.66 million, up 6.3% year on year. Total revenue from tourists posted 99.949 billion VND, up 17.8% year on year.

In November 2024, the average room occupancy rate of the hotel sector was estimated at 67.1%, up 13.9% year on year.

Hanoi has 3,761 accommodation establishments with 71,256 rooms; of which there are 91 hotels and apartment buildings rated 1-5 stars with a total of 12,147 rooms.

In Hanoi, there are currently 45 food service establishments, 43 shopping service establishments, seven entertainment establishments, and two health care service establishments recognized as meeting standards for serving tourists./.
