International visitors to Quang Nam increase sharply

The number of tourists to the central province of Quang Nam in the first 3 months of the year is estimated to reach more than 1.6 million visitors, a year on year increase of 25%, reported the Quang Nam People’s Committee at a recent press conference announcing the socio-economic situation over the past time.
The figure includes 910,000 international visitor arrivals, up 36% and 735,000 domestic visitors, up 14%.

According to the provincial People’s Committee, with the motto of continuing to strive to build the image of Quang Nam as a green tourism destination, right from the first months of 2024, the tourism industry has stepped up advertisement and promotion activities and trade promotion to stimulate tourism demand.
Tourism revenue is estimated at 1,690 billion VND, up 7%, and social income from tourism reached 3,972 billion VND.
