Khanh Hoa expects to welcome 3 million international visitors in 2024

According to the department, the central coastal province welcomed about 650,000 visitors in March, 2.7 times higher than the same period in 2023. Of these, international visitors were estimated at 400,000 visits. Total revenue from tourists approximately reached 3,458 billion VND, 2.7 times higher than the same period.

In the first quarter of 2024, the total number of visitors served by accommodation establishments was estimated to reach more than 2.1 million, including more than 1.2 million international visitors. Total revenue from tourists is estimated at more than 11,608 billion VND, 2.6 times higher than the same period.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, since the beginning of 2024, the unit has made efforts to implement many promotion programs to attract international visitors. Currently, there are about 17 flights a day from the Republic of Korea to Cam Ranh, 16 flights a day from China to Cam Ranh, and about 5-7 flights a week from Thailand, Kazakhstan and Malaysia markets.

“With international flight routes from China, Russia recovering and developing, the provincial tourism industry expects to complete its goal of welcoming 3 million international visitors this year,” she added./.
