Khanh Hoa welcomes nearly 5.2 million visitors in six months

The central province of Khanh Hoa welcomed about 1.3 million visitors in June 2024, a year-on-year rise of 13%; including 370,000 foreign tourist arrivals, up 54%, according to the provincial Department of Tourism.
Total tourism revenue is estimated at more than 6,053 billion VND, up 12% over the same period last year.

Also according to the Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism, in the first 6 months of 2024, the province welcomed nearly 5.2 million tourist arrivals, a year-on-year increase of 88%. Of which, international tourists were estimated at nearly 2.4 million, 3.2 times higher than the same period; domestic visitors reached an estimated 2.8 million, a year-on-year rise of 40%.
The Republic of Korea, China, Kazakhstan, Thailand and Malaysia sent the largest number of tourists to Khanh Hoa during the period. Total tourism revenue was estimated at more than 26,072 billion VND, a year-on-year increase of 97%.
With the advantage of sea tourism, the Khanh Hoa tourism industry is expecting to attract a large number of tourists during this summer to soon complete the target of welcoming nine million visitors in 2024.
This year, Khanh Hoa expects to welcome 10 million tourist arrivals, including four million international tourists, surpassing the number of tourists before the COVID-19 pandemic./.
